Alicia Hans, MSW, LCSW is the owner of our private practice mental health agency in Fond du Lac, WI specializing in children's mental health and community mental health consultation. Ms. Alicia has extensive professional training and experience in the treatment of mental health disorders, particularly those common for children, such as ADHD, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, Depression, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and PTSD.

Ms Alicia is a dynamic, authentic mental health clinician, and creatively embraces a trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centered approach, using a combination of evidence-based therapeutic treatment modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), interactive play therapy, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), family systems theory, supportive counseling, parent coaching, psychoeducation, and is LGBTQI+ affirming.

Ms Alicia provides comprehensive clinical oversight to her team of associates in a welcoming, empowering clinical environment.

Alicia is passionate about preventative programming for mental health, including suicide prevention, increasing access to community mental health services and is a well-connected, active volunteer in the Fond du Lac community.

Alicia is a volunteer BIG Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County and also serves on the Executive Board of Directors, President Elect. She is member of Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (YPF), National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and a business member with Envision Greater Fond du Lac and the Motherhood Alliance. Alicia also serves as Chair for the Fond du Lac City Plan Commission and is a former FDL City Council Board Member.

Alicia has been open in sharing her own personal recovery journey after experiencing chronic health issues related to severe burnout and compassion fatigue during her years working in state service. She believes in sharing her story with others to help reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.

She offers professional development programming to local agencies and non-profit organizations in areas of burnout prevention, mental health education, child and youth mental health support in schools, and is a certified QPR trainer (“Question, Persuade, Refer”, an evidence-based suicide prevention model), and provides Clinical Supervision for a local partner agency.

Alicia places a high value on ethical practices, competency and dedicates considerable time to ongoing professional development and clinical research.

Meet Ms Madison

Mental Health Clinician

Advanced Practice Social Worker, Master of Social Work

Madison Leaman Theisfeldt is a Mental Health Clinician with our group, working towards post-graduate clinical licensure. She joined our team in September (2024).

Ms Madison earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh in 2023 and is pursuing clinical licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a commitment to further advancing her expertise in the field.

Prior to joining Ms. Alicia’s practice, Ms Madison worked at SSM Health Treffert Center as Behavioral Treatment Technician where she implemented evidencebased therapy interventions for children and families and worked collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the well-being of her young clients.

Ms Madison completed her graduate field placement (internship) as a Case Management Intern with Fond du Lac Area YScreen—a non-profit program that partners with high school students throughout Fond du Lac County to identify youth at risk of mental health concerns, substance abuse, and suicide. Ms Madison has also worked as a Youth Development Professional with the Boys and Girls Club of Fond du Lac and has served as a volunteer mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County. 

Ms Madison shows genuine compassion, humility, professionalism, and a commitment to embracing the core values of social work practice and has proven to be a highly skilled clinician working with child and youth clients in the clinical setting.

Ms Madison has professional experience and specialized training in supporting children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as foundational knowledge and experience applying best-practice interventions in the assessment and treatment of symptoms associated with anxiety, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, oppositional defiance, and addressing challenges related to major life transitions, academic performance/school, social skills, and relationships.

Ms Madison is especially passionate about youth mental health and is dedicated to creating positive and lasting impacts in the lives of children and their families. Ms. Madison also enjoys spending quality time with family, traveling around the world, shopping, and crafting.  

Meet Ms Leslie

Counseling Associate

Bachelor of Social Work, Graduate Student UWO

Leslie Wessel, BSW is currently a third-year graduate student at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She joined our team in January (2025) as a Counseling Student Intern.

Ms Leslie received her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree in 2022 from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, with a minor in Business and a Certificate in Cultures and Communities. While in Milwaukee, Ms Leslie was a volunteer with several nonprofit organizations, including Pathfinders’ Youth Shelter, The Salvation Army Homeless Shelter’s After-School Program, and The Benedict Center.

As a graduate student at UWO, Ms Leslie has volunteered with the Lighted Schoolhouse After-School Program, where she led a small group of second-grade students for social-emotional topics, including self-esteem and friendships.

Ms Leslie completed her Practicum placement at Clovis Grove Elementary School in Menasha as a School Counseling Student Intern last year. While she enjoyed this experience, she made the decision to switch to clinical mental health, sharing how she believed this is how she could best serve our youth to meet their mental health care needs.

Ms Leslie agrees that mental health services for school-aged children are lacking, and wants to help bridge this gap. She believes our mental health is equally important as our physical health, and all students should have access to quality mental health services. Ms Leslie believes every individual has the capacity to grow, heal, and live meaningful lives.

As a future professional counselor, Ms Leslie hopes to help young people and their families achieve their potential to live meaningful lives by utilizing their strengths, skills, and finding their passion.

In her limited free time, Ms Leslie enjoys cooking and baking, arts and crafts, Yoga, traveling, hiking, fishing, and spending time with her dog (Nugget), family, & friends. 

Meet Ms Rachel

Rachel Raskiewicz is Licensed School Counselor with a Master of Science Education degree working towards dual licensure as Licensed Professional Counselor. She joined our team in May 2024 as a Counseling Student Intern.

Ms Rachel received a Master of Science Education - School Counseling Degree from Concordia University in 2021. After graduation, Ms Rachel started her career as the Middle School Counselor/District Mental Health Navigator at Oakfield School District where she continues to work full time.

Working in this role, Ms Rachel shares how she became increasingly aware of the mental health needs within our community, and felt pulled to do more as a mental health professional.

Last summer (2024), having already completed coursework for a career in professional counseling, Ms Rachel returned to Concordia University to finish her Practicum and Internship placements with Alicia Hans LCSW LLC and earned a Master of Science Education - Professional Counseling degree in December.

Ms Rachel has proven to be a compassionate, dedicated and highly skilled clinician who has been an asset to our group and served an important role with our practice relocation and expansion. Ms Rachel shares that she has a true passion for helping people, and wants to extend that passion outside of the school setting, hoping to reach more people.

Ms Rachel is working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor – In Training (LPC-IT) while she continues to support students and families in her role with the Oakfield School District - a role she loves and does not plan to leave anytime soon!

Beyond her work as a counselor, Ms Rachel enjoys hiking, 4-Wheeling, snowmobiling, crafting, family, and time in Northern WI.
